Measure about 1.5 to 2 inches wide and 1 inch tall. The Ionantha air plants are about 1.5 inches tall. No glue or filler needed. The air plants fit perfectly in these cute little shells.  

Care for air plants: Simply submerge the plant in water for 15 minutes once a week
